Biography

Alberto Prada and his sisters, Miuccia Prada and Marina Prada, inherited a share of Prada, the handbag and fashion empire founded by their grandfather in 1913.

Neither Marina nor Alberto is involved in running the business, but each owns an estimated 12% stake in the company.

Miucca is a director of Prada and her husband Patrizio Bertelli is chairman. They each own a 28% stake.

Prada listed its shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2011.
