Biography
Annika Bootsman Kleberg is a Swedish shipping heir and co-owner of Soya Group, a multi-billion dollar family conglomerate.
She is the granddaughter of Olof Wallenius, who founded the group in 1934.
The family's wealth stems primarily from shipping, including a major stake in Wallenius Wilhelmsen, one of the world's largest car carriers.
The group has diversified into real estate, wind-propulsion technology, forestry and horse breeding.
She owns 50% of the Soya Group, with the remaining stake held by her brother, Jonas Kleberg.
About
The family company is named "Soya" because the founder's first vessels in the 1930s were converted to carry soybean oil, a pioneering move at the time.
Bootsman Kleberg has a passion for reining, the dressage discipline of Western riding.
