Biography

Carsten Maschmeyer founded German financial services provider AWD Holding AG in 1988 and took it public in 2000.

After Swiss Life acquired his AWD stake in 2008, Maschmeyer cofounded a consulting boutique focused on pension and health care plans.

Today, he invests in renewable energy and startups and runs his own asset management company, Paladin.
