Biography

Catherine Dorrance Malone is a great-granddaughter of John T. Dorrance, who invented Campbell's Soup in 1897.

Catherine and her sister, Mary Alice Dorrance Malone Jr., inherited an 18% combined stake in The Campbell's Company when their mother, Mary Alice Dorrance Malone Sr., died in June 2025.

While Catherine doesn't have a role at the company, Mary Alice Jr. replaced their mother on the company's board in July 2025.

Their cousin, Bennett Dorrance Jr., and their mother's cousin, Archbold van Beuren, are also billionaire directors of the company.

Catherine and her sister grew up on their mother's horse breeding farm in Coatesville, Pa. Catherine, who inherited the farm, also owns a dressage equestrian facility in Wellington, Florida.
