Charles Liang and his wife Sara Liu founded AI server and storage maker Super Micro Computer Inc. (commonly known as Supermicro) in 1993.
Liang has served as CEO, president and chairman of the board at Supermicro since the company's founding; Liu is senior vice president.
Headquartered in San Jose, California, Supermicro is a major supplier of Nvidia for AI server design outsourcing.
Liang was born in the southern city of Chiayi, Taiwan.
