Biography

Cheng is the cofounder of Kuaishou, a short video platform headquartered in Beijing.

The company went public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in February 2021.

Pre-IPO strategic investors included funds managed by Fidelity and BlackRock.

Kuaishou cofounder Su Hua is also a billionaire.

Cheng, the CEO, succeeded Su and added the role of chairman in October 2023.
