Biography
Cho Hyun-beom is chairman of Hankook & Company, the holding company of tire maker Hankook Tire & Technology.
Cho's grandfather, Hong-Jai, founded Hankook & Company in 1941.
Cho is the youngest son of Cho Yang-rai, the former chairman of Hankook & Company.
In December 2025, Cho was sentenced by the Seoul High Court to two years in prison for embezzling corporate funds.
