Daniel Yong Zhang

Daniel Zhang has been the chairman of Chinese e-commerce heavyweight Alibaba Group since September 2019.

Zhang is also a member of the investment committee at Alibaba financial services arm Ant Group.

China held up Ant's planned dual listing in Shanghai and Hong Kong on regulatory concerns on November 3, 2020.

Zhang was the chief financial officer of online gaming firm Shanda Interactive Entertainment from 2005 to 2007.

Zhang resigned from the board at ride-sharing app DiDi Global in Dec. 2021; he left the board at social media firm Weibo in Jan. 2022
