Deepak Mehta is chairman of listed Indian chemicals firm Deepak Nitrite, in which he has a stake.
The company was founded in 1971 by his father Chimanlal Mehta, who died in July 2023.
With a portfolio of 100 products, Deepak Nitrite is a leading producer of phenol and acetone in India.
It has more than 700 customers across the globe.
His son Maulik Mehta, who has a masters degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Columbia University, is the CEO.
