Biography
Doug Meijer owns Michigan-based grocery chain Meijer along with his brothers Hank and Mark.
Doug and his brother Hank served as co-CEOs from 1990 to 2017.
All three brothers are on Meijer's board of directors. Hank is the executive chairman.
His grandfather Henrik, a Dutch immigrant, started the company in 1934.
Today Meijer has 500 stores across the Midwest and estimated revenues of $22 billion.
