Biography
Eduard Chukhlebov has ties to the powerful founder of Ural Mining Metallurgical Company (UMMC) Iskander Makhmudov.
When Makhmudov reorganized his business, he gave Chukhlebov, one of his managers, a 7.5% stake in UMMC.
Chukhlebov also owns minority stakes in thermal coal producer Kuzbassrazrezugol and transportation company Ugol-Trans through UMMC.
UMMC, which is the biggest zinc, copper and coal producer in Russia, operates more than 300 companies in nine regions of Russia.
