Elly Reisman cofounded Toronto-based homebuilder Great Gulf Homes in 1975.
Great Gulf has built more than 80,000 homes across North America.
He and members of his family are also major shareholders in Ashton Woods Homes, an Atlanta-based builder also active in Austin, Charleston, Dallas, Houston, Orlando, Phoenix, Raleigh and San Antonio.
