Biography
Firoz Mistry is the son of the late Cyrus Mistry, the former chairman of Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata conglomerate.
He inherited part of his family's 18.4% stake in Tata Sons after his father died in a car crash in 2022.
The chairman of the family's Shapoorji Pallonji group, a Mumbai construction giant, is his uncle Shapoor Mistry.
To reduce debt, the group raised $646 million by listing privately held construction and engineering firm Afcons Infrastructure in 2024.
