Frank Blase runs the plastics manufacturer igus, which his father, Günter Blasé, founded in a garage in 1964.
Igus is the global leader in high-performance plastics for moving applications and has sales of more than 1 billion euros.
Blasé owns 97% of the business, his brother Carsten Blase, who lives in the USA, owns 3%.
Blase's Igus developed the world's first bike made from plastic in 2024.
