Biography
God Nisanov and his partner Zarakh Iliev, who came to Moscow from Azerbaijan, own roughly 14 million of square feet of real estate in Moscow.
The partners developed a 225-acre wholesale distribution center, Food City, in Moscow and also several shopping centers on Moscow's outskirts.
In 2022 a real estate mogul Nisanov was hit with U.S. and U.K. sanctions in the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
About
Nisanov knows six foreign languages, including Arabic, Turkish and Farsi.
Vladimir Putin's classmate Ilgam Ragimov, who was a minority shareholder in several projects, transferred his shares to his son-in-law Araz Mekhdiev.
