Hilton Schlosberg is vice chairman and CEO of Monster Beverage, known for its energy drinks. Fellow billionaire Rodney Sacks retired as the company's co-CEO in June 2025 but still serves as chairman.
The duo started off in 1992 by buying soda maker Hansen Natural. They introduced the Monster energy drink brand in 2002 and renamed the company Monster Beverage in 2012.
In 2015, Coca-Cola bought a 16.7% stake in Monster Beverage for $2.15 billion in cash and opened its global distribution network to Monster.
Coca-Cola and Monster went into arbitration in 2018 after Coca-Cola decided to develop two energy drinks of its own. Coca-Cola ultimately won.
