Hitesh Doshi is chairman and managing director of Waaree Energies, India's largest manufacturer of solar panels by capacity.

Mumbai-based Waaree Energies was listed on the Indian bourses in October 2024 at a 70% premium to its IPO price.

The company has five solar module manufacturing plants in India.

He founded the business in 1990 as a manufacturer of thermal and pressure gauges used in industrial boilers.
