Biography
Hua Shen chairs semiconductor and power module supplier StarPower Semiconductor; its products are used in the energy and machinery industries.
Shen was an engineer at Infineon Technologies and a senior program manager at Xilinx before forming StarPower in 2005.
StarPower went public at the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2020.
Shen received a MS in applied science from Yale in 1992 and a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1995.

Shen's wife Hu Wei holds a graduate degree from Stanford and U.S. citizenship; she is also a StarPower board member.
