Biography

Ivan Muller Botelho is the chairman of the board of directors of the publicly traded Brazilian electricity utility Energisa.

Muller Botelho is the third-generation descendant of one of the founders of Energisa; the family has maintained control of the company since 1905.

Energisa serves over 20 million customers in Brazil, controlling nine regional electricity distribution companies.

Muller Botelho's elder son Ricardo Perez Botelho currently serves as chief executive officer of Energisa, while his younger son Mauricio Perez Botelho is its chief financial officer.

Muller Botelho received a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Miami.
