Biography
Jiang Weiping is the founder of Shenzhen-listed Tianqi Lithium Industries, which makes lithium products and chemicals.
Jiang worked as a technician, administrator and sales engineer before starting the business in 1997.
Tianqi Lithium raised $1.7 billion in a Hong Kong stock offering in July 2022.
Jiang Angi, his daughter, took over the chairman role in 2024; Jiang Weiping still serves as executive director of the company.
