John Tyson is chairman of Tyson Foods, the processor that breeds, slaughters and sells meat that ends up in grocery stores across America
The conglomerate owns beloved brands like Hillshire Farms, Jimmy Dean and Aidells sausages.
Tyson is known for its chicken, but the company also produces approximately 20% of the beef and pork in the U.S.
In 2019, Tyson Foods debuted its own alternative meat line Raised & Rooted, including plant-based nuggets.
Tyson Foods was originally founded by John's grandfather in 1935. John served as CEO of the company from 2000 to 2006.
