Biography
Beckmann Vidal is chairman of Mexican tequila maker Jose Cuervo, which went public in February 2017 and raised more than $900 million.
Jose Cuervo owns Latin America's oldest active distillery, in the Mexican town of Tequila.
The company has been in the same family's ownership for 11 generations. Beckmann Vidal's son, Juan Domingo Beckmann Legorreta, serves as CEO.

Known for its tequila, Jose Cuervo became a major producer of whiskey after it acquired Bushmills in 2015 for $719 million.
Jose Cuervo first exported its tequila to the United States in the 1800s. In 2015, the company generated 64% of its $18.7 billion sales in Canada and the U.S.
