Kushal is chairman and managing director of Mumbai-based Apar Industries.
The 68-year-old company manufactures and supplies conductors, electrical cables, speciality oils, polymers and lubricants.
His younger brother Chaitanya is Apar's managing director.
Apar was originally called Power Cables when it was set up in 1958 by his late father Dharamsinh Desai.
