Biography

Lai Meisong is the founder, chairman and CEO of ZTO Express, China's largest express delivery firm by parcel volume.

Lai worked in the timber business before setting up ZTO in 2002.

The company went public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2016 and became dually listed in Hong Kong in 2020.

Alibaba and its logistics arm Cainiao hold a minority stake in ZTO.
