Biography
Lalit Keshre created investment app Groww along with three former colleagues in 2016. Four years later it became a unicorn.
The four cofounders were previously working at Indian e-commerce outfit Flipkart.
Bengaluru-based Groww has more than 50 million customers and two-thirds of them are under 35.
The company's IPO in November 2025 raised $83 million and made Keshre a billionaire.
About
Keshre was born in a farming family in Lepa, a remote village in Madhya Pradesh state.
A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, he started his career as a product manager at Flipkart.
