Biography

Leo Huang is chairman and CEO of Chroma ATE, a supplier of automatic testing equipment for sectors such as automotive and semiconductors.

The company's power testing equipment is finding increasing uses worldwide amid exponential electricity usage due to the AI boom.

He cofounded Chroma in 1984 with alumni of Taiwan's National Chiao Tung University, including Warren Chen who is also a billionaire.

The company went public in Taiwan in 1996.

Leo's son, David, sits on Chroma's board.
