Biography
A former military man-turned-financial whiz, Fedun met his partner Vagit Alekperov in the late 80's while teaching in the Siberian city of Kogalym.
In the 1990s Fedun helped Alekperov privatize Lukoil, which was formed from top Russian oil properties. He owns a nearly 10% stake in the oil company.
Alekperov now heads Lukoil, and Fedun works as his right hand man.
About
Fedun invested a reported $500 million in an arena for Moscow soccer team, Spartak. It hosted some World Cup matches in 2018.
Together with Alekperov, Fedun own Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts.
