Biography

Lin Li is the chairman of investment firm Liye Group, which has interests in sectors such as healthcare, metals and green energy.

The group is a shareholder of ChinaLin Securities and Tencent-backed online bank WeBank.

Lin's son, Lin Dibang, is the chairman of Shenzhen-based drug maker Cali Biosciences. It planned for an IPO in Hong Kong which didn't go through.

The elder Lin worked at several local branches of the Bank of China before founding Liye in 1995.
