Biography
Lisa and her father, Fritz Draexlmaier, preside over auto parts maker Fritz Draexlmaier Holding GmbH, of which Lisa is sole owner.
The $5.5 billion (2019 sales) company counts among its customers Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Land Rover, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Tesla.
Subsidiaries around the world are named after the late Lisa Draexlmaier, Lisa´s grandmother, who cofounded the Draexlmaier group.
It got its start in 1958 with an order for 50,000 wiring harnesses for the Goggomobil, a microcar produced by Hans Glas GmbH.
It has diversified into the manufacture of electronic components, consoles, door and instrument panels and exclusive interiors for specific models.
About
Although Fritz stepped down as CEO of the Draexlmaier manufacturing company in 2019, he still serves as chairman.
In 2017, Draexlmaier opened its first U.S. manufacturing site in Livermore, California, with 230 employees.
