Biography

Luo Liguo is the chairman of Hoshine Silicon Industry, a supplier of silicon metals used in electronics, photovoltaic, and chemical products.

Hoshine went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2017.

Luo hails from a township famous for making straw hats. He started a successful straw hat business early in his career.

Luo's daughter, Luo Yi, is Hoshine's vice chairman. Her husband, Hao Han, is a company director.

Luo's son, Luo Yedong, has been Hoshine's CEO since 2021.
