Biography
Maria del Pino's fortune stems from her 9% stake in Spanish infrastructure giant Ferrovial SE, part of which she inherited from her late father.
Her father founded Ferrovial in 1952; it manages airports and highways around the world including London's Heathrow Airport.
She has been a member of the board of Ferrovial, which trades on the Euronext Amsterdam and Madrid stock exchanges.
She is also the chairman of the family's charitable foundation, Fundación Del Pino.
Her brother Rafael del Pino is the chairman of Ferrovial and its largest individual shareholder.
