Biography

Mario Verrocchi opened the first Chemist Warehouse pharmacy store with brothers Jack Gance and Sam Gance in 2000.

Today it has over 600 outlets across Australia, New Zealand, China, Dubai and Ireland.

Chemist Warehouse dropped its IPO plan in favour of a merger with ASX-listed Sigma Healthcare, which was completed in February 2025.

Verrocchi bought a A$40 million historic seaside mansion in 2020.
