Biography

Marius Nacht wrote the original code for cybersecurity firm Check Point Software Technologies, which made him and cofounder Gil Shwed billionaires.

He served as non-executive chairman of the board at Check Point from 2015 until 2020. Prior to that he was vice chairman.

Nacht cofounded aMoon, an Israeli healthtech VC firm, in 2016.

Nacht has also invested in multiple early-stage security startups, including LightCyber, SafeDK, Cyber Secdo and Rapid API.

Nacht is a veteran of Talpiot, an elite division of the Israeli army.

Nacht has degrees in physics and mathematics from Hebrew University of Jerusalem and in electric engineering and communications systems from Tel Aviv University.
