Biography
Michael Krasny founded Computer Discount Warehouse (CDW) in 1984 as an online store for IT products.
In 2007, he sold the company to Madison Dearborn Partners for $7.3 billion and has maintained a low profile ever since.
Krasny is an active donor to Jewish causes and medical research through his Circle of Service Foundation.

In March 2017, Krasny reportedly paid $4.35 million for a condominium on the 50th floor of Park Tower in Chicago.
Krasny was a 28-year-old, unemployed college grad when he, after placing a $3 ad for his IBM personal computer on the paper, came up with the idea for CDW.
