Biography

Mikhail Lomtadze is a former private equity investor at Russian-focused fund Baring Vostock.

Baring Vostock invested in Kaspi in 2006, and Lomtadze became CEO of Kaspi shortly thereafter.

In October 2020, Kaspi listed on the London Stock Exchange with a $6.5 billion valuation.

Kaspi is the leading digital payments and banking service in Kazakstan, where over 50% of the population use the app.

Kaspi generated revenues of $2.5 billion in 2024.
