Biography
Naresh Trehan, one of India's top cardiac surgeons, founded the Medanta hospital chain in 2007 with one hospital in Delhi.
He is chairman, managing director and chief cardiac surgeon at Medanta, which offers services across more than 30 specialties including cardiology, neurology and oncology.
Medanta has six hospitals across North India with more than 3,500 hospital beds
He listed Global Health, the parent company of Medanta, on the Indian bourses in 2022.
About
Trehan is a recipient of the Padma Bhushan and the Padma Shri, among India's highest civilian honours.
Medanta is building four hospitals including a 400-bed super specialty hospital in south Delhi.
