Ninian Mogan Lourdenadin owns and runs trading conglomerate MBf Holdings, which has interests in everything from automobile dealerships to property development.
MBf Holdings' operation spans eight countries, nine industries and more than 30 companies.
Lourdenadin was a medical doctor who later became a property developer.
The low-profile tycoon runs one of the largest trading companies by sales in the South Pacific.
The bulk of his wealth comes from land holdings across Fiji, Australia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea and the U.S.

He was awarded two knighthoods, in 2008 and 2013, by Queen Elizabeth. The second was for contributions towards health, employment and commerce in Papua New Guinea.
MBf Holdings started in 1963. He took it private in 2013.
