Biography
Paritosh Garg is the chairman of Happy Forgings, which he founded in the northern Indian city of Ludhiana in 1979.
The company produces parts such as crankshafts and axles for a range of industries from automobiles to oil and gas to wind energy.
Happy Forgings got listed in December 2023 at an 18% premium to its IPO price.
His son Ashish Garg, an engineering graduate from the University of Warwick, is the company's managing director.
