Biography

Pedro Grendene Bartelle cofounded Grendene, one of the world's largest sandal manufacturers, with his twin brother Alexandre Grendene Bartelle.

Pedro is vice chairman of the board of directors of Grendene and owns just under 14% of the Sao Paulo-listed company.

He invests in other businesses, including footwear company Vulcabras, a direct competitor to Grendene in which he holds a nearly 50% stake.
