Biography
Peter Guber, a longtime movie executive, owns stakes in several pro sports teams, most notably the NBA's Golden State Warriors.
Guber was part of a group led by Joe Lacob in 2010 that bought the Warriors for $450 million; Forbes now values the team at $8.8 billion.
Guber owns an estimated 15% of the Warriors and is co-executive chairman alongside Lacob.
He also owns an estimated 3% of the LA Dodgers baseball team and is executive chair and co-owner of the Major League Soccer team Los Angeles FC.
At Columbia Pictures and Polygram Entertainment, Guber oversaw production of hit movies including Rain Man, The Color Purple, Batman and more.
