Pieter van der Does is the cofounder and CEO of Adyen, an Amsterdam-based payment processing company.

He owns a 3% stake in the company, which went public in 2018.

He started Ayden in 2006 with Arnout Schuijff, who retired from his role as chief technology officer in 2020.

Schuijff and van der Does first worked together in 2000 at e-commerce platform Bibit.
