Qian Dongqi

Qian Dongqi is the founder and chairman of Ecovacs Robotics, one of China's largest makers of vacuum cleaner robots.

It also supplies robotic window washers, air purifiers and lawn mowers.

Qian worked with state-owned organizations in international business and imports and exports before setting up Ecovacs in 1998.

He took the company public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2018.

His son and heir-apparent, David Cheng Qian, is vice chairman of the company.
