Biography
Indian-born British citizen, Raghuvinder Kataria, chairs his Dubai investment firm Kataria Holdings.
An early telecom investor, he sold a minority stake in Sunil Mittal's Bharti Airtel at the stock's peak, cashing in an estimated $500 million.
During the 2009 Dubai downturn, he bought 2 buildings in Emaar Square in the central business district for $205 million.

He also has stakes in Danish technology firm Vopium, a Skype rival and India's Dhanlaxmi Bank.
Kataria is a regular donor to the Al Jalila Foundation, a non-profit founded by Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
