Biography

Rahul Bajaj chairs the 95-year-old Bajaj Group, best known for motorcycle maker Bajaj Auto and financial services arm, Bajaj Finserv.

Run by the patriarch's older son Rajiv, Bajaj Auto also makes Qute, a 4-wheel quadricycle.

Bajaj Finserv, run by his younger son Sanjiv, is Rahul Bajaj's biggest asset.

In April 2021, Bajaj stepped down as non-executive chairman of Bajaj Auto, ceding the spot to his cousin, Niraj Bajaj. The patriarch remains with the company as chairman emeritus.
