Regina Helena S. Velloso

Regina Helena S. Velloso derives her fortune from Votorantim, one of Brazil's largest conglomerates.

Votorantim traces its roots to Velloso's grandfather who bought a textile factory in Sao Paulo in 1918.

Velloso's mother, Maria Helena Moraes Scripilliti, held aobut 25% of the company following her husband's death and before splitting her stake to her four children.

Velloso's siblings, Carlos Eduardo Scripilliti and Clóvis Ermírio de Moraes are also billionaires. The four sibling, a step-sister, split her stake among her three children.

Velloso's father, Clovis Scripilliti, helped expand Votorantim throughout northeast Brazil in the 1960s and 1970s.
