Biography

Remi Dassault is the son of Olivier Dassault, an heir to the Dassault aerospace and software fortune.

Olivier Dassault's grandfather founded Dassault Aviation, a French aerospace company that started out making propellers in World War I.

His father Olivier, a prominent French politician who served as a representative in France's National Assembly, died in a helicopter crash in 2021.

The Dassault family also own the country's daily newspaper Le Figaro, several vineyards and a private aeronautic company.
