Biography
Ricardo Faria founded Global Eggs (known in Brazil as Granja Faria) in 2018 when he started buying up farms across Brazil.

In 2025, Global Eggs acquired Pennsylvania-based Hillandale Farms for $1.1 billion.
Faria, who majored in agronomic engineering, got his entrepreneurial start when he founded a laundry company for hotel linens and uniforms in 1997. He sold it to French group Elis nearly 20 years later for almost $400 million.
Faria is the CEO and owns 82% of the Luxembourg-based company.
