Biography
Ricardo Villela Marino is a member of a storied Brazilian banking dynasty.
He is grandson of Eudoro Libânio Villela, who cofounded Brazilian bank Itau in 1945; it merged with Unibanco in 2008.
Ricardo Villela Marino is a partner and vice chairman of Itaú Unibanco and chairman of the bank's Latin America Strategic Council.
His mother, Maria de Lourdes Egydio Villela, a former billionaire, transferred her shares of parent company Itausa to Ricardo and his brother Rodolfo.
