Biography
Richard Kayne cofounded alternative asset manager Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors.
The $33 billion (assets under management) company is the largest investor in energy pipelines in the United States.
Kayne began his career as an analyst in New York in the mid 1960s then managed money at financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald.
He launched Kayne Anderson in 1984 and remains its co-chairman.
