Biography

Roberto Balls Sallouti is one of the partners of BTG Pactual Holding and CEO of BTG Pactual bank, where he has worked since 1994.

Balls Sallouti is also a cofounder of the Institute of Technology and Leadership (Inteli), a non profit college, together with fellow BTG billionaire André Esteves, and founder of BTG Investments LP.

Balls Sallouti was part of a group of that formed an endowment fund and implemented a new governance model that saved the São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP) from bankruptcy.

Banco BTG Pactual was founded in 1983 and has operated as a meritocratic partnership since its inception.
